Scott grew up in eastern North Carolina, spending the weekends at the beach with his family. He attended the Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, and after graduating in 2006, moved to the Triangle with his wife Meghan to begin his law practice.

He spent nearly 11 years as a trial attorney before stepping away to help create one of the most awarded vodkas on the market today. But as the son of a triage nurse and entrepreneur, his upbringing was at the intersection of care-giving and problem-solving and the desire to return to practice was strong. Helping people plan for the unexpected future can allow them to fully enjoy the present. Scott focuses his practice on Estate Planning (wills, trusts, and powers of attorney) as well as Probate Administration and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

In his spare time, he divides his attention between attempting to play the drums, debating superheroes with his son, practicing gymnastics with his oldest daughter, learning the finer art of fancy tea parties with his youngest daughter and long walks with his wife. Their dog Grizzly is usually involved in all of these activities as well.
