Susan’s practice with Pierce Law Group focuses primarily on Social Security Disability cases. Specifically, Susan has an expertise in Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income matters. Susan prides herself not only on knowing the ins-and-outs of the disability process but also, she provides a realistic interpretation of a case with warmth and empathy. Prior to beginning her work in Social Security with Pierce Law Group, Susan was a professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at St. Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Susan received her Juris Doctorate from the North Carolina Central University School of Law Evening Program. She also holds a Master of Science in Philosophy from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Vermont.
When Susan is not guiding her clients carefully through the long and difficult process of their Social Security claims, she can be found at one of the Triangle’s may Latin dance events or spoiling her pug, Sophie.
