Although small, Pamela Smykal enters everyday with an abundance of energy that fills the whole office. With an infectious smile and love of laughter, Pamela is always capable of comforting and reassuring those she interacts with no matter the situation.
Pamela has a love for education that shows through her abundant resume. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from Fordham University in 2005. Pam’s passion for learning brought her back to school two years later where she pursued a graduate degree in Criminal Justice from John J. College of Criminal Justice. Currently, Pamela is enrolled in an online PHD program through Nova South Eastern University in Florida in Criminal Justice as well.
Pamela is a New York native who moved to Raleigh 2 years ago after her parents retired to North Carolina. Since joining Pierce Law Group in May 2018, Pamela has used her abundance of knowledge and personable skills to handle client relations. More often than not, the office is filled with Pamela’s voice as she diligently handles communications with the public. Pamela has been a paralegal for the last 8 years handling personal injury and immigration cases and is now transitioning into a new field she has passion for: Social Security.
Pamela is known for her love of Pandas, which began when her mother would refer to her as Pammy Panda in homage to Shirt Tales, a cartoon from her childhood. This nickname has followed her throughout her life, and her colleagues still refer to her endearingly as Pammy Panda. Pamela currently lives in Fuquay-Varina with her cat Meow and newly adopted boxer Sadie. In her free time between work and school, Pamela loves to run, listen to music, paint, and binge watch true-crime shows and movies.
